Louis Gutierrez is a guitarist, songwriter, producer, composer, and performing artist from Los Angeles, CA.  He is a founding member of such influential bands as The Three O’ Clock, Mary’s Danish, and Battery Acid.  He has performed on television, radio, video and film and has toured all over the world alongside Beastie Boys, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M., Jane’s Addiction, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedys,  No Doubt, and countless others.
   Louis has written and recorded eleven studio albums,  singles and compilations, a top 11 Billboard hit for all-fem vocal group The Bangles, has written the scores for feature films, television shows, and student films, and has produced  a half dozen record albums .  Louis has performed as a studio musician for several artists, notably Neil Diamond’s “Up On The Roof: Songs Form Brill Building”, and “The Christmas Album”.
   A Southern California native, Louis came to the classical guitar in 2003 after attending the GFA festival in Merida, Mexico.  Louis plays David Daily guitars: a spruce top and a cedar top.
   This April Louis will reunite with The Three O’ Clock to perform both Sundays at the sold out Coachella Valley Music Festival, and on Late Night With Conan O’Brien April 10th, 2013.  This June (2013) Omnivore Records will release a Three O’Clock retrospective entitled “The Hidden World Revealed”. 

With Farfisa-fueled songs like With a Cantaloupe Girlfriend and Spun Gold,

they were perhaps the quintessential band from LA's early-'80s paisley underground.
